DECONSTRUCTED PHOTOTGRAPHY
The “Family Album” series consists of twelve pieces, each representing a special family event. This series was represented by Albertson & Peterson Gallery in Orlando, Florida. As well as exhibited in their gallery in 1989. The intention behind the work was to prolong a static moment by creating an illusion of motion. The process was to photograph an event, make multiple prints, which were then hand-colored, cut up, and fitted together. The frames around each picture were created by using the same process.
